Recovering Assets Through Strategic Lease Forfeiture

Using precision, pressure, and strategy to regain control.

Background

Our client, a well-established coach company, found themselves in a crisis. A trusted member of their management team had covertly seized control of the business by transferring over £750,000 worth of assets including vehicles and key operating contracts  into his own name.

Although our client could prove they had funded the business and purchased the assets, the absence of formal ownership documentation left them legally powerless. Traditional legal routes offered little hope of recovery.

The Challenge

With no formal ownership rights, taking the matter to court would likely have produced no meaningful outcome. The client needed an alternative, lawful strategy to compel the individual to negotiate and return control of the assets.

They approached Strategic Resolutions with financial records, communications, and operational evidence showing they were the true investors and operators of the business. Our challenge was to craft a creative, enforceable plan that would achieve results where conventional legal action could not.

Our Approach

We began with a comprehensive document review, identifying a key leverage point a lease agreement for the bus garage where all vehicles were stored and operations were based. This property was the physical heart of the business.

After conducting surveillance and operational assessments of the site to understand patterns, logistics, and vulnerabilities, we formulated a tactical plan: to initiate a legal lease forfeiture of the bus garage.

Working with our network of highly trained ex-military professionals, we executed the operation at dawn, legally enforcing the forfeiture and securing the premises. This action effectively froze all business activity and forced an immediate power shift.
